Hot rods, Customs and Muscle cars. I went last Friday and it was cool. There were only about 20 cars, but I think this was only their 3rd or 4th meet. They meet at the Home Depot parking lot on the corner of 518 & Dixie Farm Rd. People usually start showing up around 6:30 PM. I forgot my cam last Friday, but I'll get pics tomorrow. If you're in the area come check it out.
I was given info on a cruise in and some burger joint on friday night hosted by los cochinos I was going to check it out, but I am up for swinging by there also
I've been meaning to make the Cochinos meetup for a while. It's across town from me and something has come up everytime I intended to go. If you make it to Pearland, I'll look you up.

wow, growing up just a few miles away, its a trip to see anyone writing about Pearland, TX now that I've lived so far away for so long! Maybe when I go home for a visit I will have to check this out!
went there the second weekend, its coming right along, some big money cars showed up, some traditionals and even some with blinking neons under so's we would notice his chrome and billet penis.
Los Cochinos meet at the Big V Burger off of the Hardy Toll Road and West Little York on the west side on the feeder road. Usually folks show up about 7pm and the folks that own the place don't mind us drinking beer because everyone buys something.
ill be in pearland today, either in my 4x4 truck with the kids or solo on the harley. so look out for me,lol

tfeverfred, I recognized your car out there from your avatar. I like it. cool ride. I took a little break from working on my junk and went out there. Didnt stay very long, just long enough to check out the cars and then went back to work on mine. It was another one of those evenings where I worked my ass off, but didn't really get shit done.

Well, I didn't have my digital cam last night, so I bought a cheap disposible camera. None of the pics came out. Too dark. Sorry guys. I'll be more prepared next time. Hope the damn hurricane is passed by then.

Nice to know another cruise is starting up. I use to goto the League City park one on a Friday night but the last two times I've gone there hasn't been much there. I'll try and make the Pearland one next week. I'll be at Kemah cruise on Saturday but not in the Chevy yet as I'm still trying to get a windshield and finish other bits on it. There was a nice 53 Chevy in the parking lot at work today, don't know whose it is yet.
I this still going on? I'll be out that way this Friday and might check it out. It's a bit out of the way, so i don't want to make a dry run.
Won't be long before the kids in minitrucks and Hondas and the motorcycle crowd move in and it will be over. Why do these people not understand that you don't take a mini-truck, Honda or motrocycle to an old car show? The old car guys have been chased al over the East and South sides by these people who just don't get it. They also happen tobe the biggest trash makers and litterers ever.

There was a pretty good turn out Friday. There weren't any motorcycles or mini-trucks and there was only one rice burner Subaru. There were a lot of muscle cars, but there were also a good deal of customs too. My son who lives in Pearland w/his moms will be going regularly from now on. In all, we had a great time and met some cool people.
I will try to make it out the first time this friday. I didnt even make the spring cruise last saturday due to trying to get caught up on some magazine work
