Does anyone got pix of some "off" intake setups? Anything you wouldnt normally see. Lots of tubes, strange carb setup, custom manifolds, ya know?

I cant really find any (probably searching the wrong sites)

The best thing about making something is making it so it looks like you brought it somewhere.

Mc Gurk NEVER MADE a two pot for a Packard...... I made this from a NOS 216 Chevy Mc Gurk :)

Then im in big trouble.... lol

I just finished making a carb scoop for my panel truck and I dont even think im gonna grind the welds (beginner welder...)

Very nice intake, It really does look manufactured. How did you make it? Idk what the intake differences are between a Packard and Chebbie (I have little knowledge and 0 experience with packards)

The centers were a bit off and needed extending

First job was to make spacers that accounted for thse differences

I wanted to use the stock Packard header. It has an open stove in the missle so the manifold had to be cut to fit that. When done I had to weld in two bungs so there were tapped holes for the bolts holding the manifold to the header. It was welded up and fit ..... bolted together.

Extra **** was ground off. I left the underside unfinished so people could see how it was made. But you can't see that normally looking at the engine.

All in maybe 50 hours work start to finish. I've a photo of the underside but can't find it now.If I can I'll post it

I understand leaving things 'Farm-use' looking but this car was a little cl***er than that......

"tubes" and things...the steel intake runners are unknown maker off Ebay. Aluminum plenum is my homemade and carbs are 1980's carter/webers. I hope it works.
