Does anybody have the magazines to post up the articles on Porject X from the 60's. I only have one from the 80's. Sure would help for traditional tri5 buildups.
Yeah! that will work I think thats when it goes into the 11's with a 350 and 5:13 gears. Wish I still had that mag. too!!
The "Pie Wagon" lives here a few minutes outside of Boston Mass. A good friend of mine is it's caretaker. He's owned it for about 18-20 years. It's the real deal.............He's shown me a copy of the California title back when it was currently titled to the movie studio. The car is still flawless and virtually unchaged from it's casting rolls days. He has other tri 5 Chevys but the Orange Pie Wagon is the "balls" in my opinion. He the man!
Yeah, it was a lot of fun driving our roadsters in that film!!----They even paid us 50 bucks for being involved!!!-------Gads!! that WAS a long time ago!!!!----Think I still have the dash plaque they gave us!
I ended up with one of the jackets from the movie. Bought it about 12 years ago off Randy, the guy who played Wheatly and drove the GTO. It's really beat up because his mom ran it through the wash but still cool! He didn't want to sell it at first but I finally cought him at a weak moment and scored it for a couple hundred bucks! A few months later he was trying to buy it back but I had to decline!
One of the best movies ever. It is pretty much on constant play in my garage. I never get tired of it.
Michelle Pfeiffer did not like her role in the movie, believe it or not, and many of her film histories do not list Hollywood Knights in her film bio, per her request. Don't remember where I read that, but there you have it.
So, again, what happened to this gal named Diana that wanted this car so badly for her Dad, the original owner and builder? That thread went on and on,and she still dosen't own it? The HAMB went to great lengths to help her locate it. Was it all a bunch of BS? A waste of everyone's time? Somebody...do tell. Hummm..... whatever.
These are NOT the same car. The tops are totally different...among other things! I wonder if the seller didn't see this thread on the HAMB and think he's got the car from the movie?? Maybe the white car is really the one the gal is looking for?!?!?
Yeahhhhh...that's it, Larry......I say where's the pics also!! I have the movie but haven't watched it in a while.........I believe that Deuce Daddy Don's roadster along with his good pal, Scritch's roadster were used in some of the street scenes..... Don, you out there? Tell all..... CB
looks like a totally different car to me. Front fenders are different, rear deck, rear fenders etc. Dude must be confused or was sold a bill of goods.
That punch does have a WANG to it! I KNOW I've had that taste in my mouth before! You, up in the tree, you had better be squirrels with you nuts in your mouth! How about the one arrmed violinist,"he held his bow with his Dick!!!"
I just checked IMDb for her. Hollywood Knights is listed as #47, 1980 (Suzie Q). I always thought she was smokin hot in this movie.
