HELP me keep it Cool

    Can anyone give some hhelp as to keep my 350/290 crate cool here in Vegas wher daytime temps exceed 105? I have a 4 p*** alum rad , electric fan (working well )a 160 degree thermostat . Need some advice.Thanks...Magic51....:confused:

    I ***ume since you're asking that you are getting warmer than you'd like?

    Does your fan have a shroud on it? I've read here on the HAMB that this is a major cooling error that allows fans to not be very efficient in their operation.

    We do need to know what you are driving. Is your electric fan pushing or pulling?

    Are you useing water wetter ? if not try it. it works well

    +1 We got a 2 core alum radiator with a flex-a-lite fan. Wet Wetter/Water wetter, whatever the name that **** is sold under, red liquid in a clear bottle. Our '35 idles under 200 at the hottest part of the day here in vegas. 170 - 180 on the freeway. Never even gotten close to overheating or causing worry and its a 550hp+ blown small block.
