Pat's roadster looks clean, I like the water outlet change.
Good selection of prewar stuff to, good to have a cut-off.

That looks way funner than the Primer nationals down here!

Cool pics Kirk. No wonder we couldn't find you at Kansas City this weekend. Looks like you were having more fun.

Anybody know who own's the black 33/34 coupe. I would like to see more of this car and talk to the guy. It would help with my build. Is he on the H.A.M.B.?

No ****!! Great shots ---Oh wait the **** was included as well---sick shot in the porta-pooper!! I had to go back to the big garlic clove to stop the sick feeling. These intimate gigs are so damn cool. Love the econoline, perfect support ride. Yard art, shark vehicle are a hoot. Thanks for sharing another cool adventure.--Sololobo

Even though we were the chase vehicle and not technically in the pre- 1940 run, that was one of the best times I’ve ever had at a hot rod event, getting lost within in the first 8 miles, and having pages missing from the directions, made the trip more of an adventure, granted we missed the run to the top of Mt Tam, but Kirk and I made up for it by yelling at bicyclists out the window of the van with a bull horn.
My hats off to Dave! It&#8217;s nice to see someone who gets it, and puts an event together that is centered on driving. Next year I&#8217;ll be back but I wont be the chase vehicle, <p>

Well, it definitely should be a monster now that you and Matt found the 'proper' inspiration for it. :D

Looks like you guys had a blast. Glad you made it back safe. I want to go next year.

    What a great time....
A few things that I learned this weekend are:
Car "shows" **** Reliability runs don't...
If you spread P.B. on both sides jelly won't soak through and make the bread soggy...
Rear shocks are a good idea, no rear shocks makes for a bumpy ride...
A new rear spring will sag fast in a short amount of time...
After 350+ miles you forget how to back into your garage...(see last video)
My FRIENDS and I can put a "reliable" car together!!

Dave, thanks and looking forward to next year!!

WOW!! That is a pretty nasty looking 38 Chevy. You don't seem them done right too often. Usually done smoothed, mucho billet and large diameter wheels, not a bad look just not traditional. That one looks pretty cool!!

    Thanks again for sharing KIRK.

Jim, you really did nail it with your A, I'm super stoked for you. I tried multiple times yesterday to get picks of it rolling down the 1 but it never happened

Thanks Matt & Dirty,,, We Only did 2/3 of the run otherwise you would have had more photo ops!!;)
Oh yeah, one more thing that I learned is 3 1/2 hours seems more like 8 when you know that everyone else is still out having fun!!
