I have been slowly getting my 51 into a more respectable state. I still need to finish the B-pillar and door frames on the p***enger side so I can roll it outside and make sure I like it from all angles before I weld everything up. I can already tell, I am going to have to take an inch or two out of the crown so it is not so bulbous above the drip rails. Hopefully I can get it done over the winter.

Well, let's see?? Totaled my late model on the way to the Jalopy Showdown. Survived the crash. Had 2 rods, 6 screws and a bone graft installed to reconstruct my broken neck. Had surgery on my right shoulder to try to repair my busted rotator cuff. With the help and support of several HAMBERS, bought this....

Many thanks to Creator, my wife Erin and my friends & family. The HAMB rules!!!

1st mini Run at this Worcester, MA show 100 percent kulture.. had a wire burn out my temp gauge and almost died from breathing in the smoke, quick fix, and it turned out to be a decent weekend. Water pump was replaced, and the armature blew out in my starter. Fixed all that, and rebuilt my carbs for the Rumblers show in NYC for my 1st pretty far run, and blew a rod on the way back. Summer's REALLY over for me! At least I can throw the nailhead that I was comtemplating putting in now for next year!

Got into the 46 Chevy drove to Louisville for 9 days (2000 miles)
Flew back to NV got in the roadster drove to Bonnevile, ID, MT Yellowstone, Jackson, Black Hills and got home Aug 26 (2400 miles). Now I am going to Kerrville TX in the Vicky Sept 24 for a week. (2800 miles). Where did the summer go??

I tried to get the 283 in the 51 running. It had no compression so I gave up on that motor. I pulled a 69 350/350 out of a junk 63 C-10 truck. I cleaned up that motor and put it in the 51. I cranked it a couple days ago bu I still have to hook up the fuel pump
