I´ve been wondering that what kind of rear suspension did altereds (Winged Express,Pure Hell) have? Or were the axle solid mounted like in FED´s and modern FC´s?

  2. Most of the old cars were built with no suspension.

the one I had had no suspension. 60's or 70's 1930 Bantam ex-altered street car, narrowed 9" stoutly welded right to the frame.

depended on who built it and when...i've seen a bunch of ladderbar style chassis' in the late 60's...logghe comes to mind... my early 70's chassis was solid with 4 bar front...i'll even go out on a limb and say there were probably even leaf spring cars back in the day...:D brandon
