Congrats Bobby, Lucky, and crew!! :D

Setting records, making history, and having fun doing it, it doesn't get much better than that!

I had the pleasure of meeting you guys last year (my first Bonneville trip) but just couln't get there this year. :( I will be there next year though, and plan to see you setting even more records! Congrats!

  2. Fantastic stuff Kev. Thanks. Going to Europe next year, so I'm gonna schedule it so I come back through the US for Speedweek.

To the entire Old Crow crew, congratulations and thanks for the hospitality all week. Your pit was a welcome oasis from the heat!

I'm sure my Dzus wrench is enjoying it's new home.

Congrats on the records and shirt. I saw the car in the Motel 6 parking lot on Saturday Night, I was in the group of goofy Alaskans, that couldn't seem to BS anywhere else (but right by the trailer).

Can we get a tech thread on the mister system (like which nozzles you used, and how you regulated the pressure, how much etc). I'll be there next year all week this time, so I would like to set something like that up and have no experience with that kind of evaporative area cooling tech (I'm from Alaska, not much need for that here). Thanks.

This is off topic way to much to do a tech thread but it works just as you would think. If your thinking about trying it, USE EXTREME CAUTION when depresurizing the pressure from a keg....DON'T DO IT if your not sure..Lucky

ie, don't open the fill on the keg while it's pressurized (where'd my hand go:eek:)?

My biggest interest is the nozzles, as you can immagine there's not alot of call for them here.

I don't mean to hijack anyone's thread, but do you know if the happenings at Bonneville are broadcast on the internet or on a radio station? I have a friend running a motorcycle at BUB's next week and I want to follow it during the week. Thanks!

    Lucky,
Congrats to you and all of the Guys on your many accomplishments!

I thought about going, but woosed-out at the last moment!

The Friday before the opening day of Speed-Week, a friend of mine Mike Spacek drove up and got a pair of front wheels from me to put on a Vintage Sprint-Car, so he could go out and try to set a record...and Damn if he didn't do it!

Congrats to him also....and so I guess I was there in Spirit anyway!

Here's a couple of Photos of the P-51 Bellytanks that you helped me identify...I thought they were House-Boat pontoons the first time I saw them.

Who knows...maybe you'll see one of them at Bonneville some day!

    Kudos Again,
    Greg

Well, I seem to do things slowly...but congrats to the Old Crow team for bustin up some records and for havin a hell of a good time doin it.

I don't if ya remember Ray the Rat (that's me) comin to visit for a while, but I sure enjoyed the time I spent with ya...and with Crow and Betty, the folks I shared a camp site with.

Here's an artsy-fartsy over-saturated shot I took of the tank while it was in impound:

And there are a few more at the Asylum:

Hope you guys get a chance to come back for WoS and WF (I'll be there for both) so I can shoot up some more digital film on ya.
