Well about 6 years ago me and my dad went in halves on a warehouse of 1932 ford parts. There are some people who have heard the story but I found some pictures I took at my storage unit one day. I should have taken more pictures. Sorry for the poor quality but these are pictures of pictures. There was a 32 roadster, 4 5window coupes 2 sport coupes 3 pickups and lots and lots of parts. When we asked about garnish mouldings he opened his closet door and there was a stack of them 4 feet high(mother load). Alot has been sold and the rest we are keeping. We hauled 8 24' covered car trailers full of 32 ford parts. It was a dream come true.

Thanks for posting the photos, always enjoy stories like this. Now for the rest of the story..........how long did it take the guy you bought the stuff from to collect it all, did he move on to other projects, or just move on?

Jim Cameron had been scrounging parts at swap meets since the early Sixties. Nice guy, small ego. In early 2002 he invited me to tour his stash, and when I did, I spent a couple of hours searching to find a nice pair of 25-louver hood sides.

He offered them to me for $150. Here they are after I sanded them down.

While I was there he mentioned that he wanted to sell most of collection. It was some time after that when he found a buyer, the original poster and his dad. Then Vancouver, Washington hot rodder Dave Rocha bought a chopped '32 five-window body from them, and a lot of Jim's old parts started showing up on eBay.

Jim kept his '32 roadster pickup project.

That coupe is perfect. Unchopped, unchannelled fenders and all!
Gorgeous. I would create one just like that if I ever had the opportunity.

I know of a couple quarter panels from that stash that found good homes. They are happy now.

This is correct me and dad bought it all and kept what we wanted and sold the rest. We supplied lots of parts to help get cars done alot better than storing it in a warehouse.

Obviously these 2 had the money and knew they couldnt loose money on the deal.. Ebay or swap meets whatever works best and make you money. Ill never fault anyone for making a buck on old cars and parts.
