So Im getting settled in to my house a little better and finally got my garge setup to get some work done. I painted the wheels and bought some tires, and got the spindles and axle from Vaphead. Ive been stock piling parts for my T coupe for a couple years and was able to get it semi mocked up today. I need to get a few more things and then I can start fabbing the frame together. This is pretty much how it will sit, maybe a tad higher in the back but not much. It will be running Olds power with 3 2's and a muncie 4 speed.
that's how much I wanted to chop mine.... Pop's didn't think it would look good and it'd be too much. But I love it!! nice work... keep up updated with pics!!!
Very tight! When do you think you'll have it road worthy? I'd love to see it up close and personal at some Seattle/Tacoma area functions, specifically Hotrodarama
I dont really know. I have a few ideas.... but it has to look wicked first, then Ill worry about little things like "getting in".
I love it ! Is that a Copper colour on the wheels ??? How far off the ground are you planning the body to be ???
Im planning abut 5" ground clearance..wheel is a 49 Kaiser. Its huge though Im not sure it will work out in the end, but it looks cool for now
My Hudson is 18" and with the f100 column and centered, I have about 1.5-2 inches of clearance to the door, minus the door panel, if there ever will be any?
Hey Bondoboy, what's happening on this? Give us some pics. This is just badass mocked up. Are you able to stay true to the mockup with the frame?
well I have really just been collecting more parts for it, I recently got a 324 olds that is all rebuilt with some go fast parts and im waiting on a front spring and a different rearend since the 9" I mocked it with made its way into my camaro.. but ya Ill get some updated pictures so we have something fun to look at around here lol...
So many Very Nice ''T''s about at the moment and this is very much one of them.Nice work, love the stance!
Yeah,an update on your Coupe would be appreciated.Very good looking car, great choice on motor and trans, way cool proportions. It has the look already. Can't wait to see more !
Nice looker. Every time one of you guys starts a car it frustrates the heck out of me because mine is still months away from a start. 5 bucks says those new WWW and wheels and tires won't last 2 weeks of mock-ups. Ya better break out the builder wheels!!! Gary
