Saturday and Sunday. 2 Day Show!

    Mark your calendars !!!

We are putting together some cool stuff to do. We've started this year with a pre-party and will be adding lots of new stuff for next year. Ideas for 2009:

Drive In Movie/Concert on Sat night
Racing at the dirt track on Sat.
    A Criuse
    Pancake breakfast on Sunday.
    Pin Up contest

Still working out some details.. but the dates are set.

Many have been calling for it for a long time, vendors, participants, spectators... last of all, me. I dont get to see all the cars at the show, its grown so large, so I need two days to walk around the grounds and see it all. This is also let us draw in larger vendors, larger musically acts and most of all more traditional hot rods.

PLEASE do the same thing in Detroit. I had such a good time this year and I know there was a good turnout. There is a guy here locally that rents a big blow up screen to show movies on. If 2 days isnt possible how about a Saturday all day deal i.e Morinng into Night. For some us this is our VLV,Primer Nats, Midnight M***, Santa Maria, in one day. Just a thought:D

dunno. Was going talk to ya about this at the meeting.

If'un ya'll want to be host club for both days, great, if you want to be for only one day, thats cool too. Pick a day.

Swanx have their choice of what to do as ya'll are the top dogs when it comes to Billetproof.

Just make sure you don't host a after party at a motel with a "beer garden". Apperantly there are some folks out there that have earned the right to party just like those cool guys in all those "50's" movies.

with that type of coverage and events i can only imagine the turnout will be a lot more then in the past year. Is the plan to keep it still at the fairgrounds or is that still to be decided based on the turnout this year?

it all sounds cool to me

Billetproof California has been growing about 10% a year. That looks to be the case again this year. If it holds true this will likely be the last year parking at the show will be a free for all.

Next year if we get more than say, 1300 cars we will need to at least direct some of the show car parking. I'm not going to force anyone to park in a "stall"... but we will have lay out some chalk lines for everyone should use as a guideline in order to fit that many cars on the fairgrounds.

again, we havent gotten there yet. Just looking ahead to next year.

  11. KOOL, KOOL, KOOL! Now it'll make more sense for me to come up (pretty long drive for a one day event for me)!!!! I'll need an application, and the best motels for parking lot partying (this is VERY important to me) when we get closer to it

Great news! Makes the drive down from Portland even easier. Any thoughts on the NW show?

was just on the phone to the fairgrounds... my message to them was, give me a date for my show or I will take it to a different location. I've been asking for a couple months now.

Either way, the show will be in Chehalis and will be at the same time as this years show. just need to shake them up a bit to secure my date.
