Im building a 32 ford and I cant deside on a color to paint it. I no the color I dont want is black. Could you guys post some pictures for me. Im going with the 60's look. Most of every thing is chrome plated or polished stainless. If you guys could point me in the right direction that would help out!

Two of my favorites are Tahitian red or maroon, but

To be 60's looking it has to be Candyapple red or gold.
Everything was painted those colors then. :)
And not a one of them was painted a flat color.

  12. I thought there were laws against painting a 3 window 32 anything other than black?

I think I can offer you some help. All you have to do is change your mind.
Paint it black on black on black.

Black, how can you not like Black on a 32? Well regardless, take into account the chrome and stainless you have on the car, and are you going for the 50's look or just a clean car? Some colors can make the car look short, and some will aid in making them look a tad longer and lower.

Red is cool when your the only car at a cruise. A few of the pics have some awesome colors, but some of them look neat, until you own a car with that color.

I am partial to some of the new Golds, be they the PT Cruiser or the new Ford Focus Gold, spruce them up a little to make them a deep gold. Not yellow base with gold on it, tends to look yellow. Kind of like the Orange Red, Blue Red argument. The Jaguar, Newer Mustang greens are really nice though, and never being a green car guy (realize growing up in the 70's with that pukey GM Light green eech) these are nicer.
The green you could go monochromatic, engine, trans frame everything that green. Gold would be tougher though to say what color to do the engine scheme in etc.
I know that nice deep Cobalt blue isnt real popular right now, start a trend!

    BTW no Orange!
