picked up a clutch system to put in my 32 project. I had to cut the metal line from the master to the slave. Can this part be ordered or am i screwed. Looks like i have to remove a rolled pin. Not sure thought. Its off of a 90's s10 any one know??
Ain't it a standard brake line type like with a single or double flare on the ends? Not sure baout the rolled pin... I ask because I may be in your boat....
Aeroquip makes a fitting that uses a traditional style braided hose, tap the pin out, install their fitting, reinsert pin. good luck
Recut the ends if they weren't already cut with a tube cutter, add proper sized flare fittings and double flare the lines. Join with a flare junction/connector. Don't use a compression fitting...you might get away with it but its iffy at best and it looks like you just took the easy way out. Compression fittings are for softer tubes like aluminium or copper.
flare fittings and double flare the lines. Join with a flare junction/connector. will that be safe enough for the pressure?
hey mink, you can buy the line or you can go to an autoparts store and go through a million fitings to get the right size and go from there. we run this s-10 set up on demo cars and have had great luck with it.
