These are some old ones from my childhood. May not be interesting to you guys, but they have a lot of meaning to me. Just thought I'd share. Here's my dads old F-100 shortwide. First vehicle I ever worked on. Helped him install a floor shifter at the age of 7. I just remember how cool it was to look through the floor on the way back to the parts store cause he bought the wrong shifter kit. This was the truck a couple years later. Good reason not to drink and drive. Here's another oldy of my dads... believe it or not that thing would scoot. This was his 67 mustang. Looked like hell but it would sure run. He always told me he was going to give it to me. I almost cried the day he sold it. These last pics were the Lincoln Continental that my grandfather spent most of his life restoring. I remember playing in the parts cars he had in his second garage. It was a complete numbers matching, drop top, all original everything. He did everything himself out of his amazing three car garage. From the paint to the engine rebuild. It was a sad day when he died. Please excuse the poor pictures. These are old. Not to mention my father was photographically challenged. Hope someone might enjoy these. Thanks for your time.
That Lincoln is a sweet ride. I know, my wife and I took my Dad's new 65 on our honeymoon in 65. Still got the wife, the car is gone.
I can appreciate what they mean to you, but how do they contribute to a pre-1964 traditional hot rod forum ???
didn't know this place had an age limit. Besides, there's a 62 lancer in the back ground behind that mustang.
on a lazy rainy sunday here at work, they make me think of working on cars with my Dad ....good memories are timeless and have no rigid standards.......although they few times i got the statement "useless as t*ts on a bull". That I could easily forget Better than some posts, worse than others my 2 pennies
