Event Coverage Ty-Rods...Who's going???

May show up as just a spectator.
Nothing HAMB worthy running.

 

I'll be there with my brothers 31 chevy. Is assguy going? Paras where are you?

 

Might make the trip, though no hot rod . I will probably bring my dad down so he can see what the fuss is all about.

 

Assguy won't go anywhere without a car, plus he doesn't travel that far out of town (except for the Rumble!)...

 

Like you have to ask - I'll be there for the 35th time (had to miss it one year due to a company trip to Chicago but Sue and Tracey took the truck so it's the truck's 36th).

Now if Bill reminds me again I'll be there for noon. I set the alarm on my cell phone, that helps as long as I'm not in the race car section listening to some loud "tunes"

I might be there in the F100. Only one of cars with electronic wipers.

 

I'll be there one way or another. The AV8 is still up on jacks with the oil pan on the floor.......don't really want to talk about that.....maybe tomorrow will get the FIX in....see you at noon for the M&G

 

I won't ask what happened, Paul, until tomorrow any ways...see you there, I can't wait to hear about Bonneville.

 

You've got to pre-register, they get pissy and send you spectator parking. Which isn't a bad thing as it saves you $30 You can pre-reg online.

 

Thanks, I went ahead and registered right after I posted that question anyway--I went back and looked at the poster one of the Ty-rods gave me. "PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY"

I got my card in the mail a couple of days later. #992

 

I'm #957, anyone got a higher number than moose?? Does this mean there will only be 1000 cars there this year?

 

So are we go to get some luck with the weather like last year?

The weather cooperated again for us.
A beautiful day and a great show put on by The Ty-Rods Club members.

No,but word has it,that its going to the grand national roadster show,so it will not be seen untill then.

 

That was a great show! Very good crowd.

I was dissapointed I forgot my camera... took lots of mental-pics... but forgot the film!

 

You forgot the hamb meet and greet to.

 

Great show, forgot my camara and missed out on a couple of good sites walking around. Walked right past me but I was to busy looking at the 427 cammer engine to notice!

 

Haha! Lots of good sites today other than the great cars. It turned out to be a perfect day. There were a few muddy spots due to 4+ inches of rain the night before, but that kept the dust down. I finally made it to the HAMB meet & greet this year and put some faces to the names and avatars. Here's a few pics...

Thanks John, it was good seeing you again. There were over a hundred deuces there today, all parked in one area. I didn't even have time to look at all the other cars. Here'smore...

 

I saw those two "working" girls a couple of times, but my digital camera is just too slow.

 

Here are some pic's I shot today. I filled two memory cards on my camera, could have filled a few more if I had 'em. It was a bit muddy, but given the 4 to 6 inches of rain in the previous 12 hours it could have been a lot worse. The weather gods were kind to us again.
