    Thanks for the photos

Interesting ... I always thought that the Ty-Rods event was a pre 49 or 55 type event. :D I did not know all the other late model stuff was allowed in also ... :(

while it is mostly 30's cars they let in up to 72 I think. There were about 100 32 fords.

    :):D

I was not being critical ...
I like SOME of the newer stuff also. I had just been under the impression that the Ty-Rods event was a lot more traditional and a HAMB vehicle type of event

You got some real goofy pictures of me coming in here rebecca! But, as always, all the pictures are great and really capture the best cars shown that day! Im going to stop bringing my camera to the shows you go too......hahaha

  8. Great pics, Rebecca! Thanks for sharing all those. I know it's a ton of work.

Ya had alot of fine cars there. Hotrodding is healthy up there in M***achusetts.

This here ride was very interesting. I'm digging it! There's alot of work just in the body alone.

I think that car was featured in Hot Rod mag in the 60's. I have seen it at several events this summer (including at the dragway). It looks like the **** end of it looks like a Corvette. I wonder if they stole some fibergl***.

no. I brought my 58 Desoto. The Plymouth is not ready for a trip like that yet. I hope soon. I had registered my cool 50 Buick for Ty-Rods but it is over heating so I brought the 58.

Great pics! Wow, that's a lot of work you've done.

I'm dissapointed I never heard about the Meet & Greet, and missed it!

It would have been great to put faces with names, and more importantly,
thanked everyone for all the help and support since my joining the forum.

    THANK YOU ALL!

that car is giving me some ideas. I am thinking of keeping the flathead straight 6 on my 36 and doing something interesting with it.

It was until it grew and $$ seemed to matter more than the original show. It used to be a Monday and would sell out months in advance, then it was moved to Sunday allegedly because the school next door to the Hudson Ma Elks was under construction and wouldn't be able to handle the spectator over flow parking. The fact might have been the show out grew the lot itself. Then they moved a couple of time and eventually ended up at this venue. It's a great place for a car show and holds a ton of cars so they moved the cut off up to 72 and charged more to get into the show There are a lot of people that don't go anymore and some even started a new show a few years ago on Monday afternon and it now sells out. Monday's weed the kids and non car people out.

That is why I like the All-Timers Gear Head gathering (on monday, no spectators). ;)

    Excellant pic's...thanks for sharing them.

You should have stopped over to the M&G at noon...in fact there were a bunch of you guys that drifted on that. You'll have to wind up your alarm clocks next year!:D

That turned out to be another fantastic day!

There's enough room on the calendar and shows to satify most.
What your saying doesn't make one show right and the other one wrong...to me, both shows are different and are right-on!!

We absolutely need more kids at shows.,We need kids that know respect for the cars, and kids that will hopefully some day continue with or hobby and p***ion!!

    Exactly, Robecca!!
