    Sounds to me that you have the go ahead to buy anything with a rumble seat. Get the coupe if it won't indefinitely postpone any other projects. Then get one with a rumble seat.

    I have two 59 Apache pick ups. One stepside and a Fleetside. I told my wife that with one son and two son-in-laws, that I would hate to have them fighting someday over the two trucks. Kept telling her we needed a third something.

    Found a 53 (year I was born) Tin Woodie Chevy wagon last month. All she said was, make sure you do your homework on it. I took that as a yes. It turned out to be a short lesson. The car is now completely torn down and new floor panels have been installed. The rest of the car is solid. No filler present or needed.

    Do what you need to do.

    yes you should but if you get it you have to chop it. thats the only way they look good!

    That is one ugly car (IMO)and block sanding it to paint black would take forever.
