the reason i asked was yesterday me and my son started working on my 36 truck project started placing the motor and since we kindof need some money for the house i got this stupid idea on offering to put in parts. Dont got a welder right now but will get one. So last night i was curious. My son knew of jallopy shope but besides that. Also my son asked me what i would be doing. I told him like pakard lights into any car, leadwork, hooded headlights, trim removal so on. The only thing i cant do is chop the top or section. But this was just an idea right now.

If you want INCREDIBLE fab work at a good price, call Dana Czech at ASC motorsports in east county. He worked with me back in my Porsche days and worked for Norm Francis street rods. He truely is a MASTER with a welder. Tell him Jim Sibley told you about him. P.M me if you want his number.

Another is in Spring Valley off Hwy 94 and the name is Bengel's. Bob Engle has the shop and he is another craftsman who loves cars and does a wide variety of work. He will show you his work too.

Jenkinson's concours and customs. Great guys and superb metal work, mechanical and restoration. award winning paint and concours restoration. I was there metal and body guy for awhile and we used no bondo. From what I know of the jalopy shoppe is no more.

Ok you got me metal surgeon. If we could get away with it financially we finished the car till it only needed high build and metal glaze filler less that and 8th inch thick in places that I could not be worked entirely because of access. Or area that were factory lead filled which I re leaded if needed. So maybe 2% filler? By the way metal surgeon your work is excellent!
