Joliet Chicago area Good Guys show - who is coming?

Joliet Good Guys?

anyone from the Chicago area gonna hit that show?

last year - Friday was deadsville and Saturday was really crazy...........lotsa cars and lot of spectators.
perhaps some people will actually take off work on Friday for the show this years 3 day event?

I will be there in one of the covered buildings selling all the usual hot rod merchandise / books/ posters / dvds/ shirts / stickers/ **** you dont need but want anyway!

I'll be stopping by to say "hello" for sure. It was a great show last year for it's maiden voyage in these parts...

...count me in, was there last year and it was a good show with good vendors and a good swapmeet. ...and a good variety of cars, lots of HAMB friendly stuff.
Hope the weather is good again this year,...oh, and the track cruize is fun to do also.
Hope this shows keeps growin, it's a good venue close for a lot of us.

 

I'm planning to go. Maybe, I'll find a grill for my 34.

 

I'll be going, I'll look around for any HAMB members I'm new to the board so it would be nice to meet someone who good at posting and get some experienced advice.

 

i'll be there on saturday. i did't find out about it till it was over last year. saw some sweet cars coming and goin there. can;t wait.

I'm pretty sure Kevin and I will be there Saturday at least.

 

Ill be there Sat. with the hot rod. Dad will have his coupe there also.

I'll be there Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday. I'll have the 36 ford and be parked with my buddies . So look for a black 36 ford sedan, a powder blue & flamed 33 chopped coupe and a mint green and ivory anglia. Stop in and say hi !! See you guys there. Mike

 

nothin ever happens around here at night. the cops have run every one off. thanks to people actin like idots. we useto sit in the old dominicks parking lot but they r workin on the lot n building... but u know sams club has a big lot, and its right on larkin by the hotels, maybe we could sit there....if any one would want to.

 

It's a shame cruising isnt allowed anymore. Jefferson street between the McDonalds and the Burger King was the cruise strip when I was in High School. 4 lane road with lots of stop lights for those planned meetings at the lights.

 

right. i have seen many speed contest in my time on jefferson. ah the good ole days

 

There are several guys from the Q.C. that have cars registered...I might go over there on Saturday?!
If I don't have any cars to overhaul or get ready?!?

 

HEY Kirk, is there going to be a HAMB meet and greet this year like last year? Also will there be a HAMB only parking area so we can all be together? Just curious. Mike

 

the 55 vert will be there!!! oh yea, and me too.

 

Will be there Saturday, probably just as a spectator though.

 

Found the right thread! Looks like Ill be headed up early Saturday in the red & white 56 Pontiac Wagon with a load of yard rats. Maybe a few embroidered pinstripe shirts too.

 

im gunna shoot for saturday too, if I can get over this stupid disease i got from the flooding at my house. I miss all my NWi hot rod friends.

 

Heres a question, If 80/94 & I65 are closed, what are the other options west bound? Its wet here, but not as bad as it is in St John/Schererville/Dyer from pics Ive seen, is 30 open?
