WWW.craigslist.org an online cl***ified you might say.
there are a few cities in Europe listed.

Be careful answering any of the "personal" adds but they can be great for a laugh.

Things are listed according to their location, often for local pickup only, so if you want parts, the sellers do not always know how to ship.

Craigslist may well be solely operated so scammers have a place to work. So far I've never had anything on there sell.

It's free (they only charge for job postings) and you can post up to 4 photos. I have had some success selling on it. Hit and miss, but so is Ebay.

with them (on their upload service) you can upload 4 photos. If you have an online image hosting account you can link to that with a bit of html code and have as many images as you want.

I use craigs a lot to buy and sell stuff and its free. Bigger items are easier to sell on craigslist since the listings are local and freight is not a problem. Of course it helps to live in a heavily populated area like DFW but I had pretty good luck in Lubbock too.

  10. Its just an on-line cl***ified. its not restricted to car parts but once in awhile you can find a deal if you look.
I have a '62 Vette mill that I picked up locally for about half a hundred. Its just a core but the crank is worth what I paid for the whole motor.
I've never really spent a lot of time on there. but I'm guessing if you have the time its probably worth while entertainment.

Here in the Midwest, it's pretty big. I've had success so far. Here's a big surprise, it's 24% owned by - you guessed it - eBay. There are programs out there to help with national searches too.

works good, ive sold a **** load of parts off of it, and have also found and bought parts off craigslist..

you will probably get the typical scammers asking to buy your "Item" as they will call it..there is no scam protection, and its probably best to look local, and go look at it and pay and sell with cash being the only form of payment.

and its hard to ***** about a free service..it is what it is.

Thanks, I thought there was some eBay connection. Listed a used car on it, only two replies one was a scammer, not impressed with it so far.

I just sold a set of Ludwig drums on there.........

On a lighter note, some had advertised this" Free Wood and Cats" someone posted right after that "Re:Free Wood and Cats.....Now that's funny, I don't care who you are."

I laughed for half and hour.

So people post messages once you place an ad? I thought they emailed you? Guess I better check that Crown Vic ad of mine.

You can look for specific stuff like flathead ford parts by going to this site:

    www.searchtheentirecraigslist.com

just type in the search what you are looking for, it works great and it is free.

I've had a lot of success with craigslist but then I'm in a major city with 1000 new car ads a day. I've bought six cars off craigslist, turning two almost immediately the same way. I've bought engines, furniture, $25 refrigerator for the shop, and lots of other stuff. I've sold several different types of things also. I highly recommend it!! Sure, there are scammers but they're easy to spot when they respond to your ad and when they advertise. They use it to get email addresses for their spam businesses.

My first stop every morning is cars and trucks for sale and auto parts. After craigslist, I come here. Yes, I've got a great job.

I bought a 33 ford pickup and a 32 ford frame off craigslist. Also sold my wifes old car after we bought a new one on there. Best thing is, its free.

bought and sold there. As mentioned, larger population centers have more action.
I've had some dummies, but it beats ebay or putting up flyers all over town.
EBay bought a chunk of it AFTER it got popular...

It kind of works. Depends on what your selling. Hit and miss.

There are a lot of stupid ****ing idiot coc..... ****.... I am so sorry my imagined tourettes syndrom is coming back again I have had a lot of that lately I sincerely apologize

People who can't read your whole post nor understand actual terms and meanings. Like the ***hole who responded yesterday to one of my postings. I am thinking he must just be blind and could see the pictures or something. It says roller. It rolls and has wheels and tires however I was told in indeed was not a roller.

So if you can handle all of the experts who know more about your **** than you do your good to go.

    Craigslist is way cool.
I sold a motorcycle on there last year.
No exaggeration...It went just like this:
I posted the ad and within 3 minutes had a call from a guy who asked "when can I come see it?"
    Me: "anytime"
    He: "How about 40 minutes"
    Me: "Uh, sure"
Almost exactly 40 minutes later he showed up, took it for about a 20 second ride, handed me the money and loaded it up.
So I had the bike sold & money in-hand in LESS than one hour of having posted the ad!

I've sold several household items (furniture, piano) on it. Great for small stuff that's sitting around in the garage or ba*****t. And the best part... it's free!!!

I've had great luck selling things on there. There are alot of scammers though, so I guess just be careful. I never list my personal email or phone number in the ad.

I've done that several times with some furniture, tools, etc. Granted, the DFW area CL is pretty active compared to some other areas.

I even bought my daily pickup truck from a CL ad.

But then there are some things that you'd think you could sell real fast and you never do.

I've sold household furniture, leftover building supplies and other items on Craigslist. I don't post an email or phone number on my ads, this way I can screen out the kooks. Can't beat the price and it works.

try Craigshelper....you can look in multiple states, cities, all at once...just click what you want, hit enter, scroll through it..the one thing that ****s, is that you really can't filter out specific types of cars. You can type in HOT ROD, and it'll pull up some POS 1980 chevy pickup, primered black with, yes, red rims, and ***LED HOT ROD RAT ROD...stuff likehat....it is very useful IMHO. Just my $0.02
