OK, we are in the 30 day window, time to officially talk about Hershey.Who's coming? Vending or showing? I think my space number is GAC 25, most north west corner of the Giant Center parking lot, 1970 Grabber Blue Ford pickup. Anyone need to leave parts for the day are welcome. My suggestion for a meet and greet is the north west corner of the stadium at 11:00 friday AM. This is as close to the pit area as you can get for the race car certification. Wear a Bobby Green, HAMB or at least a B-ville T shirt. My inside connections promise a new display from both GM AND Ford in a manufacturer's row. The Le Sabre {see Pebble pics} and the 1902 Caddilac will be there. Free admission to the AACA museum if you are an AACA member. The day parking grass fields are cut and baled, just waiting for a mega rain storm. I can't wait!! See ya soon!

This will be 39 years in a row for me, and 8 years for the van. Wonder who has the record for most Flea Market stickers on the windsheild of their Hershey vehicle? Flea Market spots are C4J-41-42 Last ones on the left side of Main Street in the Chocolate Field. The Brookville trailer is right behind me and there is a good food vendor across the isle. You can leave stuff in my spot for the day and save a trip to your vehicle and not loose shopping time. I need to find some stuff to sell.

Hell yeah!! Hershey 2008. Okay I sound a little excited but it is Hershey. If your not ready you just don't get it. I'll be in spot C3C 37 and 38. Anyone needing to drop stuff instead of carrying feel free.

Yep, I'll be there with Von Dago and my Pop. Not selling (still trying to get one) just buying as well.

I'll have on my Old Crow shirt. Probally for all three days.

Reaking like cigars, Smitty fries, and Cutty Sark. NICE!

Don't forget the pizza just across the walkway from the Giant Center. I just heard the WHOLE flea market is sold out. And the car corral. NO spaces will be available opening day as they've been in the past.

Yep, right around the corner from Clark, first row. IF all goes as planned, I'll have my '41 panel and Airstream camper in my spots.

  14. When my dad worked for Allstate years ago, he would schedule as many claims adjustments in the Harrisburg area that he could, get them out of the way ASAP, and walk the fields for the rest of the day (without telling my mother).

Well, one Hershey was PARTICULARLY sunny... long story short, he sat down to dinner and Mom cooly asked him, "How was Hershey, Dear?" while we all giggled at the table- seems that he had worn his sunglasses and forgotten to take a hat, because he looked like a backwards racoon.

    noboD,
I can't stand the wait, will be there Wed-Sat, buying, not selling.. I will be sure to stop by to discuss what you have been able to do up to now, regarding period-correct traditional rods, and the AACA.

I remember that, Brian and Dennis are across from my spots again this year. I'm just about out of stuff so there won't be any real gems in the piles, think there will be a dollar pile and a five dollar pile. This is a sign of the times, most swaps I've been to this year are that way.

Would any of you guys with a space want to take some stuff on consignment I have some NOS Lincoln rear springs 39-48 ish and some other misc stuff I dont have much into it so get whatever you can and we'll split it.
my place is a mile or so from Hershey (Just behind Mcdonalds accross from the soda jerk) so getting the stuff there wont be a problem. just thought Id thow this out there and see if theres any takers.
BTW to anyone who ate at Rosies East End previous years the place blew up from a natural gas explosion earlier this year so no more spagetti.

Also feel free to pitch a tent in my yard

I'll be in spaces OBH 5-8, you can leave some stuff there for the day if you're on that side of the meet also. Put it under the grey Dodge with the osb side racks on it if I'm not there.

You could smell Chocolate or sewer plant all day yesterday, depending which way the wind blew. I saw a few HAMBers on Wed. , hope to meet up with more the rest of the week. There's a chance of rain this AM, supposed to clear for the rest of the week, high in the 70's for Sat. See you guys Fri. at the race car certification.
