41 had a one peice hood. they changed it after 40. i have an xtra hood. hell i have a whole front clip....
i have nothing on the backburner i try and use the phase "pending" i did just recently buy new steel fenders for my truck and hopefully i will be making progress soon..
And I thought I was the only one jacked up enough to have four projects at once, sounds like the norm on the HAMB. I've got a 64 galaxie mild custom, 62 shortbed unibody truck thats chopped and slammed,47 Ford truck in progress thats been in my wifes family sense it was new,slammed out with mustang 2 front-4 link rear. I am also building a 29 roadster at this time.
You are a horrible person for making me contemplate my overwhelming to do list.. All my shit is backburner. Nothing ever seems to get to the front burner.
I'm really looking forward to really diving into this project. The required parts are coming together nicely. I don't want to disable it until I have all the parts to get it running again. It won't be long now. I need some early FE exhaust manifolds and a clutch kit. Now that the 34 p/u is operational again, I'll be able to disable the 56. Ya can't have all the stalls tied up with push-mobiles.

I'm not sure I even have a front burner at the moment. The 48 seems to get pushed back all the time but it is going to hit the road again this summer and I hope to drive it to Bonneville. Others way back on the stove are a 27 roadster for my son, the start of a 29 A something and the ongoing two seat indy racer inspired car that I have been gathering pieces for for 20 years. I'm way ahead of my buddy though, he is 60 something and has projects that will keep him busy until he is at least 100 if he finishes one every 18 months. He has to be the king of the "I'm gona", brigade.

Well sharing the front burner are the '49 shoebox and '54 chevy panel The back burners are occupied by a '54 Victoria, '67 Cougar, the resurrection of my '70 LT-1 Corvette and adding the SN60 paxton to my '49.
1934 Plymouth, started with just a cowl and some doors. The frame in this photo is being used on The Ugly Truck. The new chassis will be some '32 front rails, a dropped and drilled A axle, Buick finned brakes, etc. Long rear radius rods, maybe a quickchange. Will probably go with chrome reverse wheels. I had 21 on the burner last Feb,, Thinned it down to 10 last June,, Now I'm back to 15. Hopefully by this coming Feb I'll be back to 21.
Not HAMB "friendly".... I've had this since '86,parked it in '92. (built 3rd week of Sept. '67 and body number 6)
I guess the patio cover that's about ready to fall off the back of the house.....maybe this winter it'll collapse into a heap. I should help my kid with his wife's 1941 truck project as soon as he gets the miss out of the motor in his 1951 shoebox. .........and this thing, destined for some sort of track T some day
