Hey fellas, what are ya runnin' for a front spring? 1 3/4" or 2"? And how is the ride? Seeing how a Hemi is a pretty heavy engine......

Also, do ya think a stiffer spring would be needed if the axle was mounted ahead of the frame with the spring mounted behind it to the wishbones? Added leverage???

    Thanks!

I'm running a 1-3/4" wide "Heavy Duty" spring from Posies. Not on the road yet, but I'll let you know. I would strongly recommend the spring.

  6. I installed Posies Heavy Spring and it rode like a ROCK, bought the soft spring and used the Heavy main leaf and the rest of the leaves from the soft spring, it now rides good.
If you use the usual aluminum front cover, water pump, water crossover, intake manifold, oil filter adapter, alternator, and mini starter, you've saved a lot of weight over a stock Hemi, your not that much more than the dreaded small block.

My ol 2dr I ran a Dodge 241 on a stock spring with the main reversed and 4 or 5 leafs out and it worked just fine "the hod rod ride".
