Did a search and didn't see anything... Had a blast at the last 2 and would hate to see it go away. Dante, you still out there? Was looking forward to finally driving something to it.
Forget '09, what about '08? I thought it was a Sept/Oct thing... Don't tell me I already missed it? There's no word on the official Luau MySpace page. Jesse.
I went last year, it was Oct 7th of 2007. I hope the Luau happens this year. I would hate to miss the gr*** skirts and dancing.
Hey, there's a flyer on the website, here. So, the date for this year's Luau looks to be Sunday, September 21, 2008. Only seven days away.... Jesse.
Oops. I mean't '08... Talked to Dante recently and it looks like it might be the 28th but I would let him answer and say the date for sure.
It's on as far as I know. I talked to Dante last week and it looks like it's next week, the 28th. I'm bringing the hula girls!!!!

FOOD: it's the same deal as before. this is a potluck BBQ... rule of thumb bring enough food and drinks to feed your group and possibly a grill. lines tend to get long waiting for grills. although a lot of people have been known to share. great way to break the ice. if you are going to drink alcohol make sure you do it in a Dixie or big gulp cup and hide the empties well... every public beach or park in So. Cal. is a no booze zone, so you gotta be cool. i hope that you guys/gals can make it out. it should be good fun. bring out your lawn chairs, ez ups and make sure not to forget your cameras at home. this will be a great photo op for your cars.
Glad we can help! Never had a bad time watching my wifey and friends dancing in coconuts I plan on going early to set up. Maybe grill up something for breakfast and a "******" concoction... PS: This is a family friendly event and I'll be bringing my two 11 year old daughters, if anyone else has kids bring 'em!
