changing a gm 5x5 lug rotor to 4.75 car rotor

    need to go from a 1/2 ton truck rotor to 4.75 pattern gm rotor...what will interchange ...i've seen it done , but the owners didn't know what rotors were used....figured someone on here has probably done this swap....let me know...thanks brandon:D

    duh..:rolleyes: mid 80's gm 1/2 ton truck...needing a 4.75 pattern rotor...the guy had another c10 about 10 years ago that had small pattern all around , without drilled rotors...trying to find out what parts were used for his new project truck....and for my own personal knowledge...as i'm about due for another 80's c10 shop truck....:D thanks brandon

    I *vaguely* recall that their were two different rotors (width) available for that series of truck. Light duty? would rotors from a gm big car work?

    Generally the spindles and bearings are different for the 4.75 and 5.00 bolt circle rotors. If anything was available, it would be after market. I've seen rotors plug-welded and re-drilled before and they came out ok.

    Yep, I had mine re-dilled for like $35.00 Moser Eng. outta Ind. Perfect.

    some mid 70s chevy vans had 4.75 bolt pattern. i owned one. the rotors inter changed with pickup 5 on 5
