Help Me Id this truck. 40's ?

I believe it's a ford, but not sure on year and this is the only picture I have of it.

thanks for the help, it doesnt look to shabby from picture either.

he has this one, a 51/52 ford 1/2 ton and another looks like a 45 46 truck with dumpbed on it. he's asking $500
I think 2 have flathead V8 and the 51 has the flat six in it. if its 500 for all three might be a good deal, probably not for indivisdual though> Hmmmm

38 or 39 ford are the only years that have the 3 ribbs

 

38 will be meachanical brakes, 39 will be hydrallic/ That 51/52 is a 3/4 ton by the way. Longer box, and the front wheel wells are larger diameter

 

38 Fo Sho. Maybe a 39. Gotta see the grill.
