I traded an old Evinrude outboard, I think it was about 6 h.p. , for a '65 Plymouth 4dr. I drove it to work for a year or so, and then sold it to some migrant workers for $100 or so. They drove it to Texas and back to Wisconsin two years in a row. Might still be runnin' around in Texas , for all I know.....

I traded a worn out Pontiac Grand Prix STE for a worn out Buick Invicta six p***enger wagon. After a little work the 401 Nailhead ran great, the TH400 shifted, it ran cool, had good brakes, and factory air that didn't work. Then three years later I traded the Buick for a mortgage payment.

I bought my first car, 54 chevy 4-door, for $150.00 in 1974. I bought it at the local hardware store where someone had traded it in on a lawnmower. About 5 years later, I bought a 64 chevy 4-door to use as a work car, for $150.00 from a different hardware store, and someone had traded it in on a lawnmower, too.
