Deuce trunk channel.

My coupe does not have a rain channel which I think must be fixed to the inside face of the rear centre panel otherwise rainwater from the lid would go straight on to the trunk floor. Does anyone have a photograph of an original so I can see what should be there?

dave Im pretty sure most early fords which came with rumble seats dont have a rain channel under the trunk/boot lid.

it was only cars which had a boot lid which did not function as a rumble seat which had rain channel.

on my coupe I have a channel as that has a boot lid but on the roadster it has a rumble seat and the channel isnt there.

your right the water ran into a channel in the floor in the boot and there are normally holes at each side of the boot to which the water ran out.

Thanks, the angle of the rumble hinge looks like a channel would be there but sounds like there is not one!

New floor for the rear came today, I've been practising with the MIG.

who brought the panels in dave? reason I ask is im about to start hunting for panels for a model A roadster i brought in from cali and need them shipped..

 

Rain gutters available from Howells..Nederland,Texas..I know there has been some badmouth on here about them but I got my stuff right away,,rain gutters included...
The Trunk also has a channel at the bottom .Rumbles do not....
