Alt Bracket?????

    I replaced my old generator, with a GM 1-wire. Now I cannot find the bracket
    that will work with my block bolt pattern. Anyone run into this problem, if so how was it solved. Thanks

    The block is 1962 Ford 221 small block.

  5. +1 for the alan grove stuff. Reasonable prices and great quality. After looking on their website, I see they don't have an alt brkt for the 6's. in the past I've used the Gen brkt and just spaced the alt with collars and washers. It looks hokey, but, it worked.

    Yeah after a couple of different positions I kinda set it so it will work and be held properly. Is there any way you can send me pictures of your setup?

  9. the 221 is a V-8 , not a 6 , right? the beginning of the 260-289-302? i think JK thought i was a 6

    alan grove is probably your best choice
