  1. Time to add more....if you like what you see I got tons more I'm going to add, but don't want to over do it on you guys, little by little. Don't overdose on old vintage mod pics and some stock car shots here and there, but not many! Enjoy!
My old man keeps asking me to add names if I can, so for now I'll make him happy for the photos I know about.

Tow of THE GREATEST drivers ever in the Northeast if not the country back in the day! Richie Evans and Charlie J! C.J. used to build more then half his cars from part from Grummans. His coupe was off-set and he sat on the right side of car. Also one of his Vegas (JAWS) was banned by Nascar.

hmmm must have got confused somewhere along the way!
do either of you have some more shots of modified 57 chevys?
I was watching some old Road and Track(?) shows on the speed chanel once, they usually only had early 70's cup races, but one had a short track modified race.
just for a second a 57 chev caught my eye, no front sheetmetal, red I think, and the huge tires.

  9. I think we posted this 57

Hey Peter, keep the pics coming..I guess we can call this "The Chrome HAMB" !

The #34 is Ed Flemke in the former Judkins 2X, which was the first Pinto bodied NASCAR Modified. The 2X was puchased by, I think it was Long Islander Frank Vigliarolo Sr. and Flemke drove it for a time.

  15. sweet thanks for the information Rich, I'm checking into what the best way to get your stuff on disc and whatnot, I'll be in touch when I do:O)
