    too narrow I think unless it's a 4x4 rear. .Buddy of mine has a 76 Firebird in his 51 and it fit great

    yeah f body rear ends work good.. got one outta 89 Iroc-z for 50 bucks at a junk yard

    Yeah, if it's a 4wd. 2wd is about 3-4 inches too narrow.....

    i put a '78 camaro rear in a '52 deluxe. just had to redrill the centering holes 1.5" farther forward. the leaf spring width was right on the same.
     
  6. Only about 1500 posts about this, the search feature is your friend. In any case, S10 4x4, 70-81 Camaro, 75-79 Nova, and 55-57 Chevy are all supposed to fit fine if you redrill the locating hole, some the perches are off by maybe half an inch or so, but the bolts will still hold it where it belongs. S10 2wd is too narrow. Other 80s GM cars don't have leaf springs, so you have to weld perches on them. Which I don't know why you would when you can get one that doesn't need that done, but what do I know.

    Too norrow! Go with a early 70's nova or camaro theyre 60" perfect if you plan to slam your ride and run skirts. Or you can go with what i did which is a 1960 T bird 9" thats 58"
