That looks like it was a very good event. Thanks for posting the pictures and the videos - some quality there for sure.

That's my group of g***ers in the opening shots...The Geezer G***ers. We had a small field for the event....other events, attrition, distance for members, etc. My Willys is the blue '40 coupe in the stills and the video. My hat is off to the track owners/manager and the promoters who suffered with Mother Nature and her fickle ways. Track was literally washed clean by all the rain on Friday.....prep work on Saturday was good, but no bite, either at the line or down track to stay in the groove.Sunday was windy and cold and the track reflected the conditions. It did start to come in late in the day.
The black '33 Willys coupe is for sale....guy has developed health problems from Desert Storm deployment. The '33 pickup is a driver.
As an aside comment, I was loaded and hitched to do Mo-Kan last month and the weather service kept predicting horrible conditions. I opted out at the last minute because of them......turns out they were wrong, again....AS USUAL. Sorry I missed it.

WOW! Pretty impressive. Thanks for the great coverage.

I live near Lincoln but had no clue how cool this event was going to be. Guess I need to wake up and smell the coffee (or nitro, in this case).

I'll pay better attention and be there next year - hopefully with my 60s-style Bantam altered roadster.

Nick thanks for the pics and vids. Man there is some great race cars in Nebraska. I thought y'all only cared about football up there. Impressive for a vintage drags in the midwest on a cold and windy day. Enjoyed seeing the Don Gay Pontiac whose former life was from our neck of the woods. That family sponsored and did a lot of racing back in the days outside of Houston. They owned a buch of dealerships and were all racers. That twin hemi fed is sick. Thanks again. Can't wait for the Day of the Drags to get here next month.

Wow - very cool! Thanks for posting here, had no idea you were a member. You guys put on a great show and I hope to see you race again next year!

Haha... trust me, I could really care less about Nebraska football :D
Yeah, that Pontiac WAS very cool - the current owner is a huge Pontiac fanatic and has had quite a few other rare ones. I remember an altered wheelbase mid-60s Pontiac hiding away in his shed when I worked for him.

I'd love to make it down to DOTD some time, just not in the cards this year, though. See ya in April at the Roundup for sure!

Haha.. glad you liked it! :D

Here's another - It's Rocky's truck, there might be photos of it on his profile, if you search for it...
