I'm working on a 50 ford (model car) and would like to see some reference pictures of belly burner type exhaust systems. I tried searching but did not find any pictures. It would be awesome if anyone had pictures of how the pipes are routed under the body. Thanks in advance!
Belly burners are found on pick ups. The run under the side rail on the bed. That what you're thinking about?
Search on here for the Coachmen's car show 1955/57. There are at least 2 in the films. Also, that is one of the HAMB's great treasures, I hope you enjoy it. Might have to search the spelling Coachman's, I don't recall.
thanks Richard, I found that when I did the search. Awesome footage. I am looking for detail pictures. mostly of under the truck.
Im going to bump up this old thread. I'm building a '39 Ford pickup with my father and we are building it as a late 50's show truck. We are thinking about belly burners (well I'm trying to talk the old man into them) and we'd like to see some examples. I found these 2 pics on the web. Heres the '39 as it sits. The truck is dropped 4.5" and channeled 4" and will be getting a limefire green paint job with white tuck and roll.
