This was my daily when I worked at Hayward Lumber in San Luis Obispo, Ca. a few years ago. It's a '66 Rambler MoreDoor. Great little car.
Are you referring to the first HAMB drags Rmablur shoot out? Tuck sold his (don't know who to) and 'All-NOS' Rocky sold his to FatAssedWhitewalls. I think he still has it. r
A kid up the street and his dad bought my Rambler... Its in GOOD hands! Rocky tried to sneak a NOS bottle under the passenger fender... hahaha.... That weekend RULED.
Angry thats fuckin sick! i gotta 60 american body and some other stuff that i'll sell for scrap price if anyone wants it...
months of preperation... most of it back and forth here on the hamb... haha. I think Rocky was telling everyone he was gonna leave me in his dust... or smoke? haha... he had a little rad trouble but it was 110 plus... and hotter on the tar- Tuck
I still have Rocky'y car, it's sitting in my barn. The NOS is still on it. I drove it around for awhile, but it smokes so bad I just use it to clear the wasps out of the barn now. I soldered up the radiator, (he put the fan into it when he broke the motor mount) And unstuck the shifter. I have plans for it, but others are first. Dean
i've had this 63 for a few years now- bought it from a cali car guy named chris brown, same guy who "tailored" it
more pics of the rotary rambler..sorry cant seem to figure out how to post thumbnails??? Hopefully the car will be completed early next year.
I've got a 65 cross country rambler wagon with airbags and nostalgic painting on the side but dont know how to post pics on here.....friggin idiot I guesssssss
I used to have a 59 wagon...neat little car...wouldn't mind picking up another one in the future...good luck with the build
This is my other 59 American. Bought it off EBAY a few months ago for $688.90. All I did was clean it up and change oil/plugs/filter. Hope you enjoy!
No kidding. Saw it on EBAY a few months ago. Bidding ended at 688.90/ I didnt even bid..I emailed the guy and told him to let me know if his buyer backed out to let me know as I would want the car. About an hour later I got a call from the owner..the winning bidder..some dealer in Ohio I think..couldnt get the car picked up within a week so both parties mutually ended the deal. I thought it looked clean enough in the pics so I got it thinking I could use it for parts if it was rust bucket. Anyway, the car was dirty and had a large community of the biggest black widows Ive ever seen under it but I could tell it would clean up. What you see is the cleaning "day" in the pics. Car has 37k miles. Runs XLNT..no rust anywhere ever. I found an old 60's bank deposit envelope under the back seat from Rock Springs Wyoming..I did some research and found there was a Rambler dealer in Rock Springs. This car appears to be a Wyoming car most its life. The guy I bought it from was from Illinois but the car was always garaged. It spent around 8 years in Illinois then he moved to N Calif inland. I dont know why he sold it so cheap..he was just happy that I appreciated the car and would take care of it. Yes she has a clean title and the interior is completely original. Had one nice repaint to original colors on the outside only about 12-15 years ago. The trunk paint, interior and door jams..under hood is original paint. Definetly a find. Thanks.
Here's a little Rambler Gasser I saw at the 16th Annual Car Show put on by the Ohio Valley Street Survivors at Ogelbay Park in Wheeling WV.
Early next year? hahaha.......Thats the funniest thing I heard all day. Thanks for the laugh. (ps: Who ever is doing the work on that car really looks like he knows his shit.)
Ramzoom... I think you broke my Modem with those big ass photos... I will give you $688.90 to just learn how to resize...Your Fired! Hyfire
Thats funny, I have been looking for a '64 770 for about 15 years and have only found '65s... Oh yeah, heres mine. Not as large as Ramzooms photos, but relevant anyways.
