This has been talked about here a little. I believe it to be a pretty good deal if you have the cash...

I've heard good things about PAW. I had my short block, and got everything else from Hot Heads. Those guys are definitely great.

  5. There have been a number of comments on different boards lately about the quality of their machine work. They used to outsource it but took it in-house some time ago. Some of the comments have been the usual sour Internet grapes, but I have heard from some folks whose opinions I respect...enough to make me hesitant about giving them an unqualified thumbs-up. A number of folks have said that PAW is not helpful when trying to get machining errors fixed...

Given the fact that you are in Sweden, I would see if perhaps a trusted person in P.A.W.'s area could inspect the parts BEFORE they were sent overseas to you.

I believe that kit uses the Weiand blower setup, which is available elsewhere if that would simplify things.

For what it's worth, I know a number of people with PAW Chevy 383 kits that have been just fine in the past.

yea i dont worry about the weiand things i know its qality i was thinking of the block and all the parts - i have heard a lot of the crateengines and even see cheap parts on those

  7. I no longer use PAW because their customer service is of little to NO help. The prices are cheap, but if there is an issue (my EXPERIENCE is) they wont help. Spend a little more and shop elsewhere.

I got parts from them and they were OK. The kits looks to be all there but you should know who has done there machine work on the block and heads, etc. They also use the king bearing sets which are cheap parts made in India. Dealing with both Hot Heads and PAW I would go to Hot Heads and see what they have similar to PAW. Bob Walker at HH is very helpful when issues arise. Just my two cents.
