First, to Rich...thanks for the help and support. Second, an update on what I've found out about this car...1. It was chopped in 1955. 2. It did see some time as a drag car, with a blower motor in it. Don't know what kind of motor, just that it was blown. 3. It is channelled over a '77 Chevelle ch***is, done in '77 by Darcy. 4. I'm pretty sure it's got a '55 Chevy front bumper guard as a rear bumper.
We still don't know for sure what the back gl*** is out of, because it's shorter in height than a stock '51 Ford.
I'll be doing the paint in a few days. Atomic Orange with white pearl flames.(sorry, Richie, but Theresa won out with flames) Stay tuned for the upcoming pics!

Being from the West Coast, I now nothing about this '51 Ford custom. That car has so much going for it and will make a great cruiser when finished. Your work on it is looking so good the color choice will workout just right. The only thing, I see on he shoebox that is out of proportion is the surround for the rear license plate it's just to big. A sunken plate (tunneled) would look far better and give a cleaner look. Very cool keep the great work up.............................
