Damn holmes...Say aint so....I'm bummed now that i just found this!! http://www.mooneyesusa.com/news/robfortier.html Goodluck and hope she finds a good home!!
Nice car. And cheap by today's standards. Imagine what you would have in that car if you had it built?!!! $$$Big$$$
Funny that is the feature car on the Rhinebeck meet postcard notice that has been on my desk for a month. First '53 I've seen with a grill I like.
Wow.....ditto what Dirty said.... Your car was a HUGE inspiration for my 53 when i built it.. I ave to say it's probably the best looking, cleanest 53-54 custom i've seen..
That car is fantastic. I have the honor of working with Todd everyday...... Its rare to find customs so pure........... created with p***ion, not ego.
He said he sold it to fund his many Honda Tuner projects... *****in car! Sometimes the good ones have to go too just to make room for something else cool.
Well put Bob & so so true...Not too many kats 'get' that statement!! How been holmes & hows Texas treating ya you 'Rockstar'
I've never spent more than 7gz on a car but this along with Ness's are about the only ones that would make me want to hit my retirement fund or do a 2nd mortgage on but neither are in sight for me now...esp since just basically got into a house for just over that amount... o-well, right click & save the ways of a dreamer..Somebody is going to get a *****in' lil car!!
Todd is working at Austin Speed Shop aye... I had heard and read many stories that included Todd (mostly by Cole) and was introduced to him by Rod Powell as, "One of the original Salinas Boys," but he was doing neon signs at the time I think... The Chevy is a beautiful car... Someone is going to be very happy. -Juan
Yep, Todds a RULER for sure...... mostly because he drives a pink truck..... He claims chicks dig it. haha Texas is pretty good...... things are finally starting to come together.
I hope it doesn't sell...unless it goes to Austin. It's more than flattering to hear all the compliments--thanks!
