I have a set of what [I believe] ,are 54 Buick Skylark wire wheels, that I want to use on my 32 Buick coupe, that need centercaps...what do these stock 53 54 Buick "small" caps look like? ANYONE HAVE A PIC?
if they are five on five bolt pattern only and say KH on tha back with tha date, than they're old skylarks.. post up some pix, those are probably my favorite wires. whatcha mean "small caps" for those wheels? i thought they came with spinners? just regular caps?
THANKS WHEELKID WELL,I am mixed up now.....the are different from your pic..... My wheels have a cap to cover the lugs,it is same diameter as a 35 Ford Wire wheel cap. It IS a laced wheel, not welded spokes-15" 5 lugs -5" bolt circle. These are old wheels -not Truspokes,Id say they are late 50's early 60's wheels by appearances....I am gonna paint htem as the chrome is bad. DO YOU SELL CAPS TO FIT THE 35 FORD WIRE THAT DONT SAY fORD ON EM?
Can you post a picture of the wheel you have? yes they do make caps that don't say ford on them but I don't know where to get them Jimmy
Thanks Paul2748,Ill check them out...that seems like what I am wanting, a stainless cap with no logo or at least no script/Name...
Hope I don't get in trouble for bumping such an old thread, but I'm trying to learn up on skylark wheels. Did you ever find out what you have? Sounds like maybe a set of caddy wires?
heres a Buick Wire Wheel i sold, the guy said it was on a 30's Ford thats why it was painted yellow the cap didn't come with it, i guess it is a old thread
