brought my new car home yesterday. i have been tryin to buy this for a year. i finally talked the guy out of it. plans are for a 351 modified and a c-6. today i bought a z'd frame front and rear. i have a 9 inch rear but no front yet. the car is missing the deck lid and p***. door any one have a door? not sure on wheels yet, maybe 16 inch steel or kelsey hayes wire. i have a tracter grille from a farmall, not sure on that yet. any pics of fenderless t coupe would be a great help for ideas and inspiration. thanks eric
I think Jman has a trunk lid. Also the door can be from a 28-29 pickup. As Tuck told me, those pieces can be worth more than the body.
Here's mine......not a recent pic but was this year at the Asphalt Invitational. Its currently getting a tri-power setup and some offy stuff put on it.... Next will be some lakes headers

If I were to build a T, it would have a similar engine to this one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=5zO9jRIFEww&search=g***er I like the Copper colored ones in the post above, but the Black one with the purple tribal flames probably pleases me to most.
I have to agree with Tuck, you T is the ****! You never know what you will find when you open a thread on the HAMB and it is great when you find a jewl like this.
This may help if you can't find a deck lid cheap or local. DIY! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=138388&&showall=1
Thanks guys, The seats are home made by a friend of mine. He started to build the car, but sold it to me because he moved to California and needed money. So I bought it and finnished it up. So I will not take all the credit about the car. I´m pretty happy with how it came along. I´m still going to change the head lights, so their more into the 60´s style. And some other small things if I will keep the car. I have some plans of selling the car. Here is a few more pics...
I don't see anything wrong with the headlights. Is that a Edsel grille, or a custom fabbed job? Damn, I hijacked the **** out of Rancho's thread!
Yes the chrome shell is Edsel ,the rest is custom made so the radiator will fit inside . Sorry Rancho, this your thread...
Cool project Rancho, I think it needs about a 10" haircut for starters. I could be wrong but I think some early model A doors (like 1928) will fit some late model T's, i.e. 1926-27. Do a search and find out for sure but it might be a little easier to find an A door than a T. Hope that helps, (if my ***umption is true) good luck.
Contact the guys at this website, www.tntrods.com as i know Tim there has a bunch of old T Coupes, Sedans and tons of parts for T's.
Teemu, that thing is screamin for some canted quad-headlights!! Be sure to inset them in a housing. God I love that T.
son of a ***** danny i was just going to say the same thing. very nice Ts in here. keep us updated, Rancho.
DON'T DO IT!!!!! That's the one thing I really hated about 60s customs. That and funky-*** nerf bars/bumpers. Rather see kitty-hair upholstery.
its ok my thread got hijacked the pics of these cars are awesome and have given lots of ideas for mine. thanks
also today i scored a killer steering column with a 41 willys( we think)steering box from chopped tudor. and i picked up my frame today from him as well. and thanks for the help on the door search i found out they are the same as 28-29 pickup doors.
