I'm in for tomorrow, if there's a group of slow driving Americans on the QE, give them all the finger except the guy in the gray bucket. I think we'll have about 5 cars in total on the road up.
just replace the 57 ford and merc with a 50 ford and a 53 ford truck, if they show

Okay guys, just to be clear. I can not stay for Sunday. I am very happy to "host" the meet and greet with Jeff (Norwell) in our booths on Saturday for Flatman and 27Kids great idea of a meet and greet, but I will not be there on Sunday. So I hope to see all of you at 2:00pm Saturday. I am on my way out the door right now to try and get the same spots we were in for the spring swap meet. Right near the car show area and sports fields/nets. See you all tomorrow!!!!

No worries, I'll be bringing the little one with me for her first official car show in the hot rod (she's very excited).

    Sunday isn't too bad.
I bet Flatman and I could park next to each other and we could have the meet and greet there at 2pm on sunday.
    How does that sound?
Big A I've been hoping to meet you one of these years.

    Hi Guys,

New member from Flamborough here, and I may just walk up and say Hi to you guys at the Waterdown swap meet on Sunday if that's OK. I've been hanging around here for a while in lurk mode, and I decided it was time to step up and introduce myself on the HAMB this afternoon.

Here's my introductory post to show you folks what I've been up to and what I'm all about:

Went by there today and snapped a couple of shots. The weather was great and lent very well to taking pictures and enjoying the good crowd that was there. Seeing I'm kinda new to the H.A.M.B I never got the courage to actually speak to his greatness, but I did get to appreciate his very fine truck. It was tough getting a clear shot as the crowd for some reason ... was very heavy around it all the time :

Great turn out for the meet and greet. I didn't get a chance to talk to everyone but it was nice meeting you guys and putting some faces to names.
Jeff, outstanding job on your truck man!! Killer.

Like wise, great meeting all you Canadian guys, I went back to check with the other NY crew and they wanted to leave so I left short notice, sorry guys.
The constant 3 grand dash took it's toll on my valvetrain on the way back though. It blew a rocker out a few minutes after crossing the border back into the states. I nursed it a few blocks to a friends house, the guy with the 34, swapped out the rocker, pushrod and hardware and continued my 3 grand dash back home.
I really need to come up with the scratch for a good set of rockers, that's the second one that's blown through.

virtualvanner, I almost walked right in front of you when you snapped that picture of Jeff's truck...lol

I had a blast! It was great meeting HAMBer's from all over Ont and the NY guys.
I got a huge sunburn to prove how much fun I had, haha.
IBB41, sorry to hear about your trouble. Glad it didn't end with a huge tow bill.

Well guys (and girls, as we had two show up) the meet and greet was a blast!!!! I would like to say thank you to Flatman and 27Kid for inviting us down. I would also like to thank Mr (dreamy)Jeff Norwell for parking his very impressive 32 next to our booth. I didn't need to fire the flat head up all day, his truck brought more then enough people to us!!!
It was really great to see you guys again, and to meet some new faces.
34FordConv, it was great talking with you about the 21 stud, if you want those heads in the garage there yours, just let me know when your in the area.
lBB41, I still can't believe you drove your bucket up from Buffalo!!!! It was great to meet you guys from south of the boarder. I hope to see you and your friends at the Flat out Weekend next year in July.
Virtualvanner, I remember you taking those shots, I wish you had of stayed and introduced yourself. Don't be shy around us guys!!!! Most of them won't bite.....
We got some pic's from the meet and greet as well. I'll try to post them soon.
Once again, thanks for letting Far From Stock be the meeting place, we had a great time.
P.S. efiman, it was nice to see you again, and to meet your cousin and see the pic's of his car. Keep up the good work on that T, and I'll let you know about the Desoto Hemi asap.

Oh ya, Ynotayblock, keep in touch. I want you at the show next year. By the way, that was a really cool "door prize" that Faltman left you. Put it to good use, if you need help locating parts for it, let me know. I'll help any way I can.

Sorry we missed you on Saturday Jeppa. Some of the group were talking about a meet and greet at the March show in Toronto. I think this one was a great success and we are seeing the start of a very good trend here. We need more get togethers like this one was. How was the get together today?? Did anyone make it out?

I was there for a while today. It was totally dead!
Had my meet and greet name tag on the dash of my car the whole day and no one said hi.
Hung out by the car most of the day as well.
Jeppa, we'll have to meet up in Guelph or Toronto for a psycho/rockabilly show sometime.
Sorry for not hanging around long enough to meet anyone today.

Yes, I hope we can all meet again. Many events ahead for 2009.

This was the first time I went on a Sunday. Now I know why I was told not to go. Totally dead is an undersatement. I thought I saw your car but not you. Will chatch up with you later.
