I bought my daughter a 64 chevy II nova for her first car ,194 automatic. We need to see some finished ones for paint colors etc. Please show us yours.
here's the old color: the new color: some pics/vids of the nova club I'm in: PCH Cruise Vids/Pics and a link to the best nova site on the web: http://www.stevesnovasite.com
Dude I absolutely love the color you painted it. Where'd you get that burgundy from? And by the way, my buddy's got a sick mild custom '63. He'll be posting it up here soon I'm sure.
Thanks. The color change a lot depending on the light. The color is a 2006 dodge/mitsubishi color. It is called inferno red or lava red. I have a bunch more pics on this page: 63ChevyNova.com Photo Gallery You should tell him to check out StevesNovaSite.com. There are a few of us that get together once a month. It's a good time. Thanks. I'm thinking about picking up a car like yours to use as a daily...
My first car was a 62 chevyII I loved that car and wish I still had it. Good luck I will try to scan some pics
Try a google image search on chevy II, tons of examples. Have you looked at stock colors for that year? There are some nice colors from that era. More importantly what color does she like? And how long before we see it cruising the streets of our fair city?
I get that every 10 minutes at car shows JimAlberta - mine isn't painted, it's tinted unsealed primer but I love the colour And another vote for StevesNovaSite.com LOTS of info there
Thanks everyone, we're not sure about the trim, the ones without the trim are very nice and we like the look but would like to see some with trim as well.
There is no actual year cutoff for the H.A.M.B. General Discussion forum. I'd say '65 would be the "cutoff" for Novas because they went square in '66 and seem more musclecar. I think they look great with Cragar SS's. Thanks, Kurt
That works! You probably won't see many, if any, other maroon Novas. I like that it has a nice rake to it, too. I started liking the AD Chevy trucks after I saw a restored '50 Suburban in maroon. Thanks, Kurt
my wagon . gonna ditch the belly button rallies at some point and go with torq thrusts. has a 305 with a 200r4 .
Since it's not allowed on the for sale forum (that's where the '64 cutoff comes from) , maybe I can't get away with posting this here . My brother had a squarenova and I have a bucket of leftover parts that I'll sell to a good home for cheap. PM me if you're interested, and I'll come up with a description. Thanks, Kurt
Our old Chevy II! Got a 63 Vette I'll trade for the right Chevy II! Corrected, don't want any coronaries!
It's NOT a Deuce........a 1932 Ford is a Deuce......... What it up with all of this Chevy II talk here? I am sorry guys, but they are neither rods, customs or traditional.......why not take it to that Chevy II forum? Respectfully, CB
Heres the one I've been tryin to get from my moms hubby for 15 yrs... Still sittin in the garage with the longblock 427 missing.... A '63 Acadian. Been in love with these cars forever.......
this is basically what she had in mind...light blue with a white roof and we were thinking of going with tinted primer until we know its all straight.
Sorry, boss.......I guess this means the HAMB is now open to anything *interesting?* But you decide the limits so I stand down... CB
