Darryl of Darryls upholstry and paint has asked me to invite this entire group and especially the local Indy crew to his annual car show. Show is Sunday Sept. 21ST, starting at approx 11:00. Free food ( i heard Darryl can cook) and free car show , all ya got to do is get here. This is his annual event and the wed night crew has volunteered to do the homemade awards per class etc .. Well, the Bubba's crew finished the trophy's, and We may actuly see the inuragal running of the "Noodle".... Were not sure the "Big-D" crowd is ready for the Wed Night Crew or not... Remember... This Sunday..... Freebie food and Freebie entry..how good is that!

Well today was the Open House... What a great day, Darryal is a most gracious host...He and his crew opened the shop and feed us. Bubba's Hot Rod Crew created the trophys and the place was swamped. It also was the fisrt road trip for the "Noodle"...I counted over 50 cars crammed into "Big -D's" yard... Heres just a few pics...
Kick ass get together, making plans for next year for sure. I can hardy move i eat so damn much!!!! never seen so many ribs just laying there for eating!!!!! Special thanks to the big D and crew. guess i will have to buy his breakfast in the morning! I am having just coffee and toast!!!
GREAT food, good company and some nice cars. Who could ask for more?? Oh yeah...it was all FREE!!!! Thanks Darryl and crew for a kick ass good time. Sorry I had to leave early. I had to take Hannah and a couple of her buddies roller skating. Not nearly as cool as your show but funny as hell!!!
Thanks to Darryl for opening up his shop to some questionable characters on a Sunday afternoon! And for the fantastic food; What a spread!!!! Love your Pontiac. Dad and I took some measurements and *think* that grill will fit in the Merc; it would definitely be different. Never have seen a Pontiac grill of that vintage in a 49-51 Merc. Looking forward to next year! Maybe we should have a girl flag start the cars when running down Keystone?!?!?! -Katsass '51 Merc
