Coming back from Billetproof Sat. the 50 Cad engine in my 48 Ford just quit in Vallejo. Luckily my friend with me had AAA towing. (I'll have it this week) We had it towed to a friends place a few miles a way. Called another friend in Clearlake (about 50 miles from Vallejo) for a ride home. This morning I went down in my 85 Chevy step side to fix it. Got a few miles from where the 48 was and the newly rebuilt 700 R just wouldn't go. It was like it was in neutral. Had it towed to another friends Pontiac dealership in Napa, borrowed a truck from him and went to where the 48 Ford was and put a new coil in it and drove it home. Now I gave to go back sometime this week and tow the Chevy truck home.

Thats always me but with some menial task on a car. Like tonight for example, doing inner rockers on my friends 50 Merc. Got 1/2 the drivers side in and it was quittin time. I do have to degrease and powerwash under the hood, so figure its a cool night, get that banged out. Get the powerwasher and hose, electricity...****...the quick connect is at our new place on that garden hose. No problem, I have a gas powered one downstairs I got out of the trash and fixed a locked motor on. Go grab that, fight thru my tiny garage kicking **** outta the way, get out there...****ing hose is a different hookup for the trigger gunny part. What the hell??? I was about to install a windshield in the 50 Merc just so I could turn around and bust the windshield out haha.

No problem it was a test and you p***ed, now you'll be ready for anything that comes down the road. Good luck with your rides, things are always greener on the other side.
