Hey, summa guy say dis machine dey usa to maka da Ferrari.....Induma dey call it. Me , I tink itsa looka likea Bridga porta . Sorry for the bad Italian stereotype lingo. Anyway here she is , my new milling machine. It's an Induma , made in italy and it's basically an exact copy of a Bridgeport, might even be an Italian Bridgeport who knows? I got it from a machine shop that needed to make some room for some new equipment. I had to convert the motor over to a single phase because the original motor was 575 volt and I don't have 575 3 phase. Still need to fix a few little things like replace some handles and the coolant pump but it works and makes metal chips. It also came with a big magnetic chuck. For those that don't know a mag chuck is just a big bloody magnet to hold stuff flat to the table, to buy them new can be as much as $1000.00 for a big one. [/quote]
more than hating because you have one, i hate because you know how to use it. whatcha gonna do with it?
Whatever he wants, that's the great part about having a bridgeport. Seriously dude, you suck I've been wanting a mill to go with my lathe for a long time. Problem is I need the space to put it too. Shawn
Great find, man. I looked like forever for a B/P I could afford, and settled for an almost new Enco. But I got lots of tooling w/it and it does whatever I need to do. Now I'd like a small lathe. Hell, if the truth be known, I'd LIKE a lotta stuff. Can I afford and where do I put it?
Is this the manual for it? http://cgi.ebay.de/OZ-INDUMA-1-S-Ve...hash=item310085799837&_trksid=p3286.m63.l1177
Atsaa Nice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where did you get it from? The Deygo Tire Co? Our motto is Deygo thru rain,Deygo thru mud and when Deygo flat-they go Wop-Wop-Wop!
With a verticle mill, a lathe, bandsaw, drill press, and welder you can built just about anything. You'll realize just how neat that is after having it for awhile and learning it's capabilities. Frank
That is exactly like our brigeport stage I mill in the tool & Die shop. The parts look a tad different but all the controls are in the same exact shape and location. I would bet that they use the same parts! Its soooo easy to work on a brigeport too. If you ever find to much slop just replace the bushings in for the lead screws right under the table and it will brand new!! I learned how to use the one at our shop when I was younger and the boss tryed to chain me to it. I was the only one that could use it. All the other yahoos just new how to use the CNC machines(i.e. push the green button wait... then the red button) If you got any q? just PM me. You guys see that turn table vise he has on the deck???? He doesnt need a lathe!! They used to have me make big old bolts for them with a turn table like that.
