It's a rare manifold made popular in part because it is what was the style used on the American Graffiti coupe. Without carbs you could get $500.00 for it pretty easily, if it is absolutely mint Ive seen them go for almost a grand. Offy makes a 4X2 manifold you could get new for about $350.00 so the person buying it has to really want a man a fre. Tell your buddy I will give him $500.00 right now for it without carbs or linkage.
I saw this one 6 years ago with 1500.00 on it. I'm sure they would want more today but it's only worth what someone will actually pay for it.
Ive owned a few, depends which one you have, does it say made in alanta, is it missing any letters, ive sold them on the bay, sold one for 1200. the last one i sold was new, sold it for 1600. The graffiti coupe has kind of a cult following, anything that was on that coupe is high. The hard core cloners bulding that coupe want the real deal, offy dont get it, its not right! Remember they do not make this manifold anymore, rare, so the price is what you feel good with.
WOW that cracked me up. I've looked at that picture a hell of a lot and never noticed anybody's legs. Black stockings and high heels and I would have noticed. but it did crack me up. I ran one back in the early 70s so I notice them. Everyone I've talked to seems to think they are gold in this neighborhood...of course I had it mounted on a 62 Corvette that I can't afford today either.
noob??????LMAO. Thats a good one. You've been a member a whoppin' 5 months longer than I have! Granted, you have posted alot more than I have in that time. I guess I need to spend less time wrenchin and more time surfin. Later, Camel
