Could we convince a HAMB site manager to get something made up and made available to HAMB members? It would be great to identify a member at a swap, race or show by flying a banner so we could do that bonding thing:D How about sporting a plaque hanging from the rear bumper? Any interest? The HAMB logo is cl***y and would be an honor to display.

I had one made and so did Alex Gambino! I hang it up at most of the shows that I attend. It will be flying at the Mooneyes X-mas show!!!

  7. Bad Bob that's a cool idea...I make signs and banners so I am gonna make myself one tomorrow...very cool...now let's work on a secret handshake like the Knights of the Templar

  8. We have one but most municipalities have decency laws that preclude us using it:D Plus it just feels weird.......at least the first couple times:eek:

We tried the handshake thing, but I kept getting phone numbers put in my palm...ha ha ! Now we just stand with our backs to a wall, for when Groucho or Dreadman sneaks up behind us...

It all actually started with a piece of cardboard at the LARS about four years ago. I had HAMBers sign it when they stopped by,then somebody stole it! That's when a fellow HAMBer made the banner for me and it just showed up in the mail!!!

  10. Laughed my *** off. It's only weird if you add a feather.

Have ponied up the money and have the dash/firewall plaque. Now, Bad Bob's banner is what I'm talking about - and I have seen that at the Primer Nats. Oddrodgarage, can you make several up and offer them for sale? So it's not a HAMB violation, like a copyright thing, to make and fly the logo? The plaque I was refering to was the cast license plate size type car clubs have and fly on the rear bumper or on the back window package tray - you know, that tray where some of us used to sleep on those long drives with our parents.

I would talk to Ryan before setting forth bud.

  19. If it's cool with Ryan I will do it but only if the bossman is cool with it...I could duplicate the plaque layout with individual names...it's all up to the man in charge...it's his baby, his logo and his deal

Please keep this going. I did mention this to Ryan in the past and it has been requested of him before by others. He wasn't opposed to it but I know it's another one of those 'projects'.

The banner is for one purpose....so HAMBers can meet at events and sign it. It's NOT for sale, nor will it ever be. Ryan will not let anybody use the logo for profit. Last thing i'm gonna do is get myself kicked off my favorite addiction,LOL!!! He's been asked before about hats, plaques, jackets, etc. So far,it's shirts and stickers. Oh yea...Alliance tags. That's enough for me.
Wouldn't want it to turn into a "VonDutch" thing!!!

It's true, I did 20 days in the can when I mistook the Mayor's wife for a HAMBer and started to perform "the moves".

  25. I agree with that...I'll only do it if it's agreeable to the bossman...I think the idea of having it signed by fellow hambers is *****in'...this place is definitely an addiction

No buying or selling involved. Made by a HAMB member and donated to be used at different HAMB Meet & Greets all over the country.

Here's a bit of history for folks. I would wager this is the very first HAMB "banner" in existance circ. 2003 HAMB Drags. I have it safe and sound for future generations. :D

Correction, he does do hats and wool coats. Had hats at the HAMB Drags as a matter of fact.

Ryan, if you see this can you comment on making HAMB banners so everyone can see your reply. I'm about to have some 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 17 HAMB signs made up to put in the windows at events - if that is kosher.
