Event Coverage Ever seen a Kaiser Darrin?

Greetings from Long Branch,NJ,Americas first seashore resort and 7 time US summer capital ....Had the pleasure of meeting Mr,. Weber who owns the white Darrin here at the shore many years ago and he is nice guy to talk to about the car....I always like to hear the comments about the cars' sliding doors from the people trying to correctly or incorrectly identify his car.

In 2004 I went to the Kaiser Frazer National held in Auburn Indiana. There was 14 of them there at once. The club had never had that may together before.

The guy he is talking about buying the unsold ones was Darrin himself he bought fifty of them and put everything from corvette engines to caddie v8. There were 435 made. They beat the corvette out to be the first fiberglass car out by a major company. I drove one when I first moved to Cali in return for the person driving my henry j. The darrin was basically a modded HJ frame. Darrin wanted to put huge superchargers on them also.
