My Dad had 3 brain surgeries. They can do a lot. The Man upstairs will be there too. My prayers are with you, the family and all those caring for you.
Remember, It will be good in the end, if it's not good yet, it's not the end! God Bless.

All the best to you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know what a difficult time this is for everyone. Three years ago this month my oldest son had most of his brain tumor removed and he will be with the doctor again tomorrow to see if they have they have to operate again:(. All you can do is trust the doctors and pray at lot.

    Howdy out there! It's me!
I'm home now, feeling really good. The prayers and well wishes really work, you all are the best!

They kicked me out last night ahead of schedule. I got a head full of staples and keep those until Wednesday. Went from morpine drip to Oxycontin pretty easily. I'm taking it easy and slow, but currently stoned.

I'll know around Friday the good news. I'm feeling great, and my mental focus is back on top (after you factor in the drugs). I was having problems before with diagnostic stratagies and mental blocks. The day I spent 3 hours on a 10 minute blower motor relay job was pretty sad.

I got 3 ****py cel phone pics for now, but you get the idea! I never said I was good looking!

Yesterday early, my surgeon came in and we had a fun chat. I showed him my list of light-duty car items I want to attend to, things like wiring and small part painting. He agreed, wants me to stay busy safely (NO truck clutch this week). He took the time to explain the slice-N-dice in my head, how parts get reattached and sewn back in. The incision is linear, but then they make work through a circular area and reattach with permanent ***anium screws. I'm expecting to recieve a special card now for airport travel, etc...

Anyway, thats about it for now. Gonna go cruise the HAMB a bit and go by the DMV this afternoon - my first thought on waking up was I really should sign up as an organ donor. My brother's in town, so he'll drive safely.

    CHEERS!

  21. great news john , get well soon dude ..

  22. Good to see you up and soon to be about. Prayers are a very powerful weapon to use against any adversity.

You think maybe they could have used a TIG instead of staples? :)
