Just turned 58 today and, just for your information, it's not as bad as I tought it would be 30 years ago. Feeling pretty damn good for an old man.

It's good to hear that life isn't over by the age 30, like so many people whine about. My grandfather is about to be 80 and he still welds and hotrods his cars... I can only hope i'll be doing that when i'm 80... if I even make it that far...

    Happy B-day man.

Congratulations. I turned 58 three days ago.
    Retired, healthy, never felt better...really!
My 40 year graduation reunion for high school is this weekend.
40 years ago, I was driving my Model A panel with a SBC/Muncie and was thinking that in 2008, I'd be driving a Volvo station wagon, spending my weekends watching "Meet the Press", and into stamp collecting. WRONG!
I still get hot rod magazines in the mail, just like in the mid-1960's.
Man, how'd we get so lucky?
Happy Birthday...I'm in good company! :)

Look at it this way;you've been young all your life-why stop now?
Birthdays are just a numerical system to annotate your term on this planet.

Their are several of us that are drawing social security on the hamb. I am in better health now and get around better than I did 20 years ago. I guess its no stress and not having to get up and go to work every morning.. Bobby.........

There are certain advantages to aging. When I was young, I had to drink a whole six-pack of beer to get the same effect I can now achieve just by getting up off the couch too fast!

  29. 58 ? I can barely remember being 58. That milestone was p***ed about 10 years ago. :D

After 40+ years of race cars (dragsters and sprint cars) I bought my first hot rod earlier this month. :)

    Happy birthday !

59 here. Got some aches and pains that I "earned" thru the years, but it's not bad. I do get some weird looks from the youngsters when I kickstart the Panhead and ride off on it though. (G)
