Eric, Matt was telling me about your Merc.....nice score!

I was inside at the DVD table for most of the show on Sunday, but at one point I had to go get something out of trunk, and a guy approached me and asked me about the Merc.

He said he had been eyeballing it all day and told me that he just bought a 50 for 8 grand that in his words "was rusty and didn't have a running motor or ******."

He asked me what I paid for mine, which he was probably insulted when I told him "not much more that he paid!" But as with many things in life being at the right place at the right time made the difference in scoring the deal!

Since I got it in May, I replaced the gas tank (which was rusted beyond belief) and upgraded the interior (disaster blankets and suspenders on the seats) and home made tartan plaid door panels held in place with punk spikes.

As with most cars, there are a list of things I plan to do,(mechanically and cosmetically) which maybe by the next Messaround a few of them might be done.
